Vic is a young Viking like no other: not very strong but very clever. When his father, Halvar, the village chief, steals from his sworn enemy a magic sword that turns everything into gold, the lure of gain wreaks havoc among the Vikings.

This handsomely animated Viking adventure is a fun movie for young kids with gentle humour, a charming squirrel character to add some cuteness, and an easy introduction to the idea of plot twists. ~ Tom Cassidy
This fun movie contains adventures, emotion, humour, thrills, fights, and results to be pretty entertaining. In this attractive adventure Vicky and the crew take on several dangers such as the abominable Sven, a storm with huge tidal waves, and the meddling gods: Odin and his sons, Thor and Loki. The young Viking uses to accompany his father, the chief of their village, and his men on their adventures, and often Wickie is the person who uses his wit and instincts to help the men in their times of need.
Almost every role has an appropriate resemblance to his or her cartoon counterpart. However, it is a shame that Halvar’s crew is hardly mentioned and is mostly present in the background. The squirrel, on the other hand, appears much more prominently and that could have been a bit less.
