Martin wakes up to Mironov after a doctor clears his wound. Mironov tells him how they shot all the criminals in action and Dzharo offered to steal the money, but Mironov refuses and is shot. Later, he woke up and lit everything around, staging his death. After his departure from Russia, he married, but Dzharo finds him and kills his wife. Now he returns for revenge and wants Martin’s help. He returns to Dzharo and continues his work undercover.
Ivo is lying to Dzharo for killing Sunny and promising her protection of his. Meanwhile, Dzharo decides to change tactics and build a good image of society, and Martin managed to get more information from a politician – Zhelev, a close friend of Dzharo, and handed it to Mironov. When Mironov uses the information against Dzharo, he suspects politics and kills him, but someone kills one of the mercenaries.
The agent is desperate because he is already put on a “national search” and Popov is powerless to help him. The undercover officer knows that without direct evidence they cannot arrest Dzharo and he will get away. Before the cops hit Dzharo’s printing house, Martin steals from her a file of files for counterfeit banknotes. Meanwhile, The Hook is worried that they have begun mass arrests and wants to cover themselves temporarily. Dzharo understood that his printing house was closed and threatened Popov’s family. At that time, Martin threw the disk out of the printing press into Dzharo’s apartment. Popov and Neshev search the boss’s apartment and hold him on charges of counterfeiting money.

Martin Hristov, a specially trained agent, is appointed to go undercover in the gang of Bulgaria’s top mafia boss, Dzharo. On his way, he faces numerous challenges in order to completely become part of the criminal world. His task becomes more complicated when he meets the big boss’ girl, Sunny. While undercover he gets a promotion in the mafia hierarchy and becomes part of the world full of crime, violence, and corruption.
The show is inspired by Martin Scorsese’s 2006 film The Departed.

Undercover (Pod Prikritie) is a real top world-class TV series. The only real problem for it to become hit in other countries is that it’s in the Bulgarian language. That’s not actually something that I consider as “bad”
I have watched all four seasons, thanks to my wife for translating, and I’m impressed! Extraordinary realistic movie! There is no “superman”, “batman”, vampires, witches, and similar bullshits! This show must receive a reward! I know – the situation in ex-communist countries is not good, but now I understand why those people are so sad. Because of this movie, I searched for more info about Bulgaria, history, culture…
Did you know that PC has been invented by Bulgarian scientist Atanasov? Oh, my God! We think those people are stupid! How can so far, I have not seen the Bulgarian cinema!
