The Magic Quill 2018 Movie – Storyline:
A fairy tale, featuring the landlady Margaret, the devil Boniface, the bribable councilors Fake and Chatterbox, and the lazy tailor Greasy. In Hell, the devils have a quill that writes human sins into the Book of Sins and the devils go and pull the sinners down to Hell. One day, Boniface goes to Earth, Greasy the Tailor steals the quill from him. The Devils back in Hell think nobody is sinning and everything is all topsy-turvy. Boniface admits to Margaret that he is responsible for the whole mess. Together, they not only save the town of Pytlov from destruction, but Boniface learns what true love is
Review of The Magic Quill (2018 Movie):
It’s a great fairytale about hell and love. The costumes are beautiful, the actors young and talented. The songs are catchy. There are a lot of funny scenes. It’s worth watching at least once or twice. it kind of reminds me of one older Czech fairytale also about the hell called Give the Devil His Due from 1985. (There is even the same actor playing one of the main characters in both of these movies) I really recommend watching this. It is a lot of fun for the whole family.
An incredibly beautiful fairy tale, with a lot of humor, even for adult viewers. Above all, the actors convince with their deliberately exaggerated presentation and give the film the right nuances. Absolutely worth seeing for the whole family.
