How to Make Out 2020 Movie – Storyline:
Arthur, 15, falls in love with Ouassima, who doesn’t even look at him. While he has never been in love, she is dating Matt, the handsome kid from college. To get closer to her, Arthur gathers a group of single losers and offers to give them lessons in fishing, at 10 euros per lesson. In the changing rooms of the swimming pool, a long, intimate, and collective learning process begins on “girls and love: instructions for use”.
How to Make Out Full Movie Review:
This film leaves me doubtful. I don’t know what to think about it, I didn’t hate it but I came out … Of it. It’s better than racist comedies, of course, but hey. I have the impression that the film is getting lost, that it wants to make a “New Generation Beautiful Gosses” (It’s even on the poster) but at the same time make a pseudo-social commentary. The film will be quickly forgettable, for me, there are only 2 striking scenes, the one in the middle with the song and the one where the black guy reveals that he is gay. I find her acting in her video really touching and true.
Speaking of acting, I find it really random, the girl is either over-playing or under-playing constantly, Ramzy, whom I really like and who for once tries a more serious role, often works but sometimes fails and the rest of the cast oscillate between good and bad and I find that there is only the mother of the hero who is really very good. There you have it, the film is random, sometimes it took me away, and sometimes I wanted to die. Anyway, it’s hard to get involved in a story where everything is superficial.
