Review Of X-Men: New Mutants (2020) Movie:

The New Mutants is a movie about 5 teenagers, all of them a stereotype seen in hundreds of movies (the shy girl, the outcast, the rebel, the sexy, and the traumatized), that try to survive an “evil” experiment of a big corporation. All of that with bad CGI, horrible performances, and a pointless script. If this movie was an attempt at a Marvel Horror movie, the only thing scary enough was the price of the ticket.

The fact that I went out during a pandemic to see this, and it was awful, just goes to show you how money-hungry Disney/Marvel really is. The fact they kept pushing for a theatrical release is the dumbest decision they could have made. The story itself was extremely boring, the character development was non-existent, and the VFX was also fairly mediocre. Don’t waste your time trekking to a theater to see this monstrosity – wait till it’s online.
