Storyline:
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a 2010 American fantasy adventure film based on The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the third novel in C. S. Lewis’s epic fantasy series The Chronicles of Narnia.
The film is set three Narnian years after the events of Prince Caspian. The two youngest Pevensie siblings, Edmund and Lucy. Transported back to Narnia along with their cousin Eustace Scrubb. They join the new king of Narnia, Caspian, in his quest to rescue seven lost lords and to save Narnia from a corrupting evil that resides on a dark island.
Filming was supposed to take place in Malta, the Czech Republic, and Iceland in 2008 with Michael Apted as the director, for a planned release in 2009, but production was halted after a budgetary dispute between Walden Media and Walt Disney Pictures concerning Prince Caspian‘s performance at the box office, resulting in Disney departing the production and being replaced by 20th Century Fox.
Lucy and Edmund Pevensie return to Narnia with their cousin Eustace where they meet up with Prince Caspian for a trip across the sea aboard the royal ship The Dawn Treader. They fled to The Long Island and no one has ever heard anything about them. Now Caspian is seeking out the lords of Telmar with his Captain Drinian, the talking mouse Reepicheep and his loyal men.
