Follow the story of two cousins, Dolly (played by Konkona Sen Sharma) and Kajal (played by Bhumi Pednekar), as they navigate through the twists and turns life throws at them in this journey to find their place in the world. Directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, this story introduces us to Dolly, a middle-class working woman with a seemingly perfect family, and to her cousin Kajal, yet another girl who has come to the city with the dreams of making something of her life.

Dolly Kitty and Those Twinkling Stars (डॉली किट्टी और वो चमकते सितारे) [Hindi Movie] #1 Sleeping around is not liberation, stop feeding Indians with such definition of COOL!! Very powerful actresses trapped in a vicious and fake Bollywood World.
#2 What a fabulous star cast completely betrayed by abysmal filmmaking – story, direction, editing. It’s almost impossible to find such a poor level of craft in today’s world
All said and done; the film suffers from ‘how amazing this could’ve been?’ syndrome. It had every ingredient, from well-versed actors to a director who has been raved for a film in this zone, but it misses every target and getting two not so ‘chamakte sitare’ from our side.
Dolly Kitty and Those Twinkling Stars 2020 Storyline:
The story of the film revolves around two cousins Dolly and Kajal and about a secret shared by them. Living in the suburbs of New Delhi, Dolly is a middle-class working mother with a son and a hardworking husband. They are excited as they plan to move to a newly built luxury apartment. There is a secret they keep to maintain their picture-perfect lifestyle. Kajal moves from rural India to live in a city, but the opportunities are very few for a young woman with little skills. So she works as a cyber-lover under the name Kitty on a dating app and meets a man. Now the two cousins who were critical of each other’s life, share their secrets, and understand each other.
