Love and Monsters (2020) – Storyline/Plot:
Seven years after the Monsterpocalypse, Joel Dawson (Dylan O’Brien), along with the rest of humanity, has been living underground ever since giant creatures took control of the land. After reconnecting over the radio with his high school girlfriend Aimee (Jessica Henwick), who is now 80 miles away at a coastal colony, Joel begins to fall for her again. As Joel realizes that there’s nothing left for him underground, he decides against all logic to venture out to Aimee, despite all the dangerous monsters that stand in his way. The fun-filled and action-packed adventure also stars Michael Rooker and Ariana Greenblatt.
Review of Love and Monsters (2020 Film):
Love and Monsters was a fun film to see and it is actually after some time a very fun new release that served its purpose and goals that it was trying to reach. The story is very inspiring and sweet at the same time, it had some emotional moments and some romantic ones that were justified, and that didnt feel rushed at any moment. Characters are also very likable and I can root for them during the entire runtime expectedly for the Dylan O Brien one because the highlights of an entire film, special effects were also pretty solid and they did a good job too. Love and Monsters was a fun film to see for all families.
