21 Bridges 2019 Movie – Storyline:
Thrusting into a citywide manhunt for a duo of cop killers, NYPD detective Andre Davis begins to uncover a massive conspiracy that links his fellow police officers to a criminal empire and must decide who he is hunting and who is actually hunting him. During the manhunt, Manhattan is completely locked down for the first time in its history – no exit or entry to the island including all 21 bridges.
The film stars Chadwick Boseman, in one of his final roles and his last theatrically released film, as an NYPD detective who shuts down the 21 river crossings of Manhattan to find two suspected cop killers (Stephan James and Taylor Kitsch). Sienna Miller and J. K. Simmons appear in supporting roles.
21 Bridges Full Movie Review:
I thought it was a pretty thrilling and suspenseful police drama, that went fast enough not to bore me. I found the production to be pretty big with the whole thing about the movie being produced by the same guys who made Avengers: End game and it has a decent set of actors in it, but you’re not going to get any substance from it. No depth just action. And is that what Chadwick Boseman really sounds like? I heard him mimic so many famous black people that I had no idea what he actually sounds like. Anyway. It’s a good popcorn-eating action movie. It’s not met to win awards just makes you satisfied when spending the two hours to see it.
